Transistor 2009 _ 1st session!!!

It was in May, during four days and the video is online :

The session was about how to preserve audiovisual records if they are in digital forms. What happens if the hardware, software are changing, how to retrieve audiovisual works in 10 years, 50, 100 years when the formats are always updated…

Some really amazing speakers, specialist in this topic were there: Richard Wright from the BBC, Dalit Naor from IBM, Oliver Grau from Danube University, Don Foresta from Marcel Project…

Here is the video which illustrates the trainings Transistor I have been organising in CIANT. Transistor is aimed to young professionals who want to know more about some new audiovisual technologies. Each 4 days workshop welcome 20 participants from all Europe.

This a project Pavel developped with Liv Ducci for Citybank, an interactive device which provides information about this bank. You can select some icons on the screen by moving the hand. The interaction is made by video tracking.
